A Nottinghamshire youth football team kicked off the new season in style thanks to the support of a local business.
The Pelican Colts Under 12s team, which trains at Lenton Lane in the city, are now wearing a brand new kit, sponsored by Nottinghamshire firm, Hardstaff Barriers.
The Pelican Colts is a well-respected team that has played in Nottinghamshire leagues for more than three decades. The soccer school, which can accommodate up to 300 children, is run by volunteer FA qualified coaches offering great opportunities for children.
Hardstaff Barriers, which is based in Kingston on Soar, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of roadside safety barriers and perimeter security systems.
The company is part of Hill and Smith Holdings, an international group, which is committed to supporting local communities by delivering economic benefits, partnering with schools, sponsoring local sports clubs and recruiting locally.
